Everest Base camp Heli Trek
Everest Heli Trek is a new flavor of trekking in Nepal merging classical 12-day Everest Heli Trek with a Helicopter flight from EBC. As time passes, the interests and preferences of tourists also change. To meet the preferences of tourists across the globe, we, Team Himalaya have designed a special package of a trek to Everest Base Camp blending the experience of Heli flight around the mountain panorama in the Everest Region. Everest Heli Trek, like other classical Everest Base Camp trek, takes us into the lap of the top of the world, Mt. Everest. This will be an exhilarating experience for the trekkers for a lifetime. The incredible mountain giants including Cho Oyu (8,201m), Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Everest (8,848m), holy Pumori, and other alluring snow-fed peaks in the skyline. This trek is not only popular for mountain views but also for experiencing various species of alpine flora and fauna in Sagarmatha National Park.
We will also gain familiarity with hospitable Sherpa people. EBC Trek with Return Helicopter commences after we have a short and scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The trek then ascends to Namche via Phakding and Monjo. Namche is a popular tourist hub and the gateway to Everest region trekking. Namche Bazar is popular for the Tibetan market, mountain views like Thamserku and other peaks, and also popular for Hotel Everest View from where one can witness the entire Everest panorama. The trek then takes you to Tengboche from where we can experience the entire Sagarmatha National Park. Sagarmatha National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site which is a shelter to alpine flora and fauna including fir, pine, rhododendron, oak, and wildlife like musk deer, Derow, Ghoral, and Himalayan Thar as well as red-billed chough, Impheyan pheasant, blood pheasant, and yellow-billed chough. Everest Heli Trek finally takes us to Kalapatthar and Everest Base Camp which are both popular vantage points in the Everest region for breathtaking mountain views. A climb to Kalapatthar offers us the most stunning view of the Everest massif. Then we head to Everest Base Camp for more splendid views of mountain peaks.
Now, we fly by Heli around the mountain panorama in the Everest region once again from Everest Base Camp to Kathmandu. In this trekking, we benefit in two ways: one is the trekkers can have an experience of adventure trekking to Everest Base Camp and the other is the experience of flying above the top of the world, Mt. Everest.
